What is bulk billing?
Bulk billing (bulk billing doctors) means you don’t have to pay for your medical service from a health practitioner when you are bulk-billed for a medical professional/health practitioner visit. Instead of charging you the health professional bills Medicare and accepts the Medicare benefit as full payment for the service.
Consult a Doctor/GP any day by phone or video from anywhere.
(Fully qualified and Australian Medical Board-certified Doctors)
Psychologists, Dietitians, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists are available by phone/video.
Referral to Specialists and allied health of any specialty.
Health practitioners may choose whether or not to use bulk billing. To find a bulk billing doctor near you, you should check if your health practitioner is a bulk billing doctor when you make an appointment. You’ll need to pay for your appointment if your health practitioner doesn’t bulk bill. You may be eligible to claim some of this money back from Medicare/Australian Government if you are enrolled in Medicare and your health practitioner chooses to bulk bill.

We believe that everyone should have access to the best possible health care. Our practice bulk-bills all eligible patients.
All telehealth services of most allied practitioners including Psychologists, Dietitians, Podiatrists and Physiotherapists who are working directly through our platform are currently fully bulk-billed.
But, due to recent regulation, you may not be automatically eligible for bulk billing for all General Practitioners’ telehealth services even if you have a valid Medicare card, unless you are –
- living in an area currently under stage three restrictions;
- or under the age of 12 months from anywhere.
Using National Telemedicine Doctor’s telehealth platform, you can now consult an Australian Medical Board-certified doctor/health practitioner any day by phone or video in the comfort of our own home or office – a consultation with National Telemedicine Doctors is an effective and convenient alternative, when a face-to-face consultation is not possible. During your consultation your National Telemedicine Doctor/health practitioner will advise you if an in-person visit to a health practitioner is required.
